The aim of this online database is to provide information regarding contemporary, often experimental, Japanese poetry that has been translated into English. In many cases, this material has been published in small publications with little circulation, and the work can be hard to find. While currently still limited in size and scope, it is our hope that it can eventually serve as a useful resource for discovering some of the lesser-known facets of contemporary Japanese literature.
